How do you determine the exact price for my home?
Your online price is based on your home size, cleaning frequency, and selected add-ons. Online prices are fixed for regular maintenance cleaning in reasonably maintained homes. First visits or homes not professionally cleaned in 3+ months may require selected add-ons or a price adjustment approved before cleaning begins.
What is regular maintenance cleaning?
Regular maintenance cleaning keeps a home that is already reasonably maintained clean and cared for on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule. It focuses on visible surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, trash, and reachable details within the agreed scope.
Do you offer one-time cleaning?
One-time cleaning may be available depending on location, schedule, and home condition. Willow & Mist is primarily designed for weekly and bi-weekly recurring maintenance cleaning.
Do you clean homes larger than 1,600 sq ft?
We specialize in apartments, condos, townhomes, and smaller single-family homes up to 1,600 sq ft. This allows us to provide one dedicated cleaner, consistent visit times, and reliable results every visit.
How long will my cleaning take?
Most recurring cleanings take between 1.5 and 3.5 hours.
The exact cleaning time depends on your home's size, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and whether you've added any extra services, such as inside the refrigerator, inside the oven, or interior windows.
Here are the average cleaning times for one dedicated cleaner:
• Up to 800 sq ft: approximately 1.5–2 hours
• Up to 1,200 sq ft: approximately 2–2.5 hours
• Up to 1,600 sq ft: approximately 2.5–3.5 hours

How many cleaners will come to my home?
One. Our recurring cleaning service is built around one dedicated cleaner for each home. From your very first visit, we do our best to assign the same cleaner every time.
Over time, your cleaner gets to know your home, your preferences, and the way you like things done. That means you won't need to repeat instructions, and you'll enjoy a more consistent, personal cleaning experience with every visit.
How do you choose and train your cleaners?
We don't simply hire cleaners—we train them to follow the Willow & Mist standard.
Every cleaner completes hands-on training and learns the same cleaning methods, protocols, and quality standards before working in clients' homes.
Because consistency isn't left to chance—it's built into our process.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?
No. We bring everything needed for your cleaning, including our professional vacuum, microfiber cloths, mop, bucket, and cleaning products.
Our cleaners arrive fully equipped, so you don't need to prepare or provide anything before your visit.
Can you use my cleaning products or equipment?
Yes. We normally bring all of our own professional equipment and cleaning supplies.
However, if you have specific products or equipment you'd like us to use—for example, on delicate surfaces, specialty materials, or personal preference—just let us know before your visit. We'll be happy to accommodate whenever possible.

Do you use safe cleaning products?
Yes. We carefully choose cleaning products based on the surface being cleaned and the level of cleaning needed. For most homes, we use products designed for regular residential cleaning.
When deeper cleaning is needed, we often use a steam cleaner. Hot steam helps remove grease, buildup, and stubborn dirt while reducing the need for stronger cleaning chemicals. We also bring our steam cleaner for initial cleanings whenever it's appropriate.
Our professional vacuums are equipped with HEPA filtration, helping capture fine dust and common allergens instead of releasing them back into the air.
We believe great cleaning isn't about using stronger chemicals—it's about using the right tools, the right products, and the right techniques.
Are you pet-friendly?
Yes, we are pet-friendly. Regular pet hair is part of normal cleaning, and excessive pet hair may require an add-on. We do not provide pet waste cleanup, litter box cleaning, urine or feces cleanup, pet stain removal, or odor treatment.
Do you do laundry or change bed linens?
Yes. Changing bed linens and laundry wash + dry + fold are available as add-ons.
For bed linens, fresh sheets must be provided and placed on the bed before the visit.
For laundry, the service includes wash, dry, and fold only if it fits within the scheduled cleaning time. Putting laundry away in closets, drawers, or dressers is not included unless agreed separately.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Most clients leave us a door code, lockbox, key, or other access instructions before the visit. Clients trust Willow & Mist because each home is assigned a regular cleaner whenever possible, so the cleaner gets to know the home, the routine, and what needs to be done.
How will my cleaner access my home?
We'll use whatever secure access method works best for you, such as a door code, lockbox, garage code, key, or someone meeting us at the home.
We'll follow your instructions carefully and make sure your home is secure before we leave.
What happens after the first visit?
For recurring service, your cleanings continue based on the frequency you selected during booking. Your card will be automatically charged according to your selected schedule and the recurring service terms shown before you confirm payment.
What happens if I go on vacation?
No problem. If you'll be away, simply let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning. We'll skip that visit and continue with your regular schedule when you return.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
You may cancel or reschedule your cleaning at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment with no cancellation fee.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be charged 50% of the scheduled service total.
